Spiritual and Sustainable Development Goals

Connecting the principles of ancient traditions to current technology is a challenge that must be met to not only to eliminate human-induced stress on our environment, but also to obtain our collective spiritual enlightenment. Sustainable development goals are aligned to spiritual reparations and wellbeing.

Cultural Diplomacy

Meetings with elected and government appointment officials generates opportunities for building bridges, and connecting dots between people and places. As we exchange knowledge and learn the sensibilities of our collective cultures, solidarity and coalition building within the African continent and her Diaspora grows stronger.

Addressing Children’s Rights in the Village Kenouhoué, Dogbe

In consideration of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Her Royal Majesty is working in collaboration with Gilbert and Antionette Djofin, founders of an NGO and a Family Home that as has since 2015 saved over 1000 children in the traditional sector from being deprived of the human right to education, and a life free of violence while in training for religious duties. My Philosophy

“The Droit de Retour [the Right to Retour] is central to my mandate as the Queen Mother of the African Diaspora, Bénin Republic. My charge is to facilitate the processes of change already underway in Africa, by enabling the cultural exchanges, spiritual growth, educational development, and economic investments aims of the African Diaspora.

The creation of a royal palace for the African Diaspora in Bénin Republic is an architectural objective that is aligned with the political space created for those persons wishing to repatriate to their African homelands. The legal and social infrastructures that welcome Afro-descendants and friends of the continent to live and work with dignity, equity, and love is intended by 2025. With the assistance of government and the private sector contributions, together we can make this happen. ”

From 2020-2022, The Queen Mother mobilized resources to rebuild the, His Eminence Dada Daagbo Agbessi Hounon Primary School, a project of The AfroAtlantic Theologies & Treaties Institute. Students from the traditional sector who are often excluded from the education system of Bénin are now the first in the country to use green technology in their school. The year 2021 marked the 25th anniversary of the school.
“Vodou establishes a place of peace for all practitioners in its global communities. It is a tradition as old as the Earth itself whose time has come. Bringing this ancient tradition into the 21st Century is an objective that has defined my life’s work for over two decades. My scholarship, photography; commitment to eliminating Afrophobia, racism and xenophobia; community-based work and nation building speak to how I honor the Ancestors, and respect their legacies. My inaugural fundraiser successfully purchased 25 portable solar powered generators, 25 tablets and 100 backpacks for the students pictured above.”
